Aisling is a popular Irish comedian who has been around for a long time. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland on 16th March 1984. Bea was on the show with Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), better known as Aisling Bea is an Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea first began her career in stand-up comedy in 2011 after playing small roles she played for Irish and British TV dramas beginning in 2009. In 2012, she began being featured in sketch comedy programs or sitcoms as well as other similar programming. Following her award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 and then was a frequent guest on a variety of panel shows, where she's now a staple. Between 2016 and 2017, she was part of the 8 Out of 10 Cats' team, in addition to being a performer on the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. Born to Brian O'Sullivan, the actress was blessed with one sibling named Sinead. In 2012, she was the first woman ever to be awarded the So You Think You Are Funny award. Bea Her maiden name, which is her birth name, pays tribute to her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh, born April 16, 1984, in Kildare Town in County Kildare. The father of her Brian was an equine veterinarian who took his own life at the age of three. Bea was just three years old, though she did not know what happened to him until she reached the age of 13 years old. To honor her dad, she took the stage-name Bea and in 2017 wrote an article about suicides in the family she was raised by for The Guardian. Bea was raised with her younger sister Sinead by Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer and a former professional racer. The family was in love with racing and horses. Bea had a job as a tour guide for the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she did not want to pursue a racing career. She was more interested in the performance arts.
